To celebrate several happenings at once, (The publication of "Where Do Rainbows Go?" as well as the completion of "Granted", and several things in personal life) I would like to open a contest up!


For those of you that know me, I'm pretty obsessed over my characters- Rose and Ventane (Faerie-Tale), Zanthius and Kalika (Borders), and now, Kristie and Li (Granted).

So, this shall be an art contest- I don't care what kind of art, traditional, digital, realistic, photomanip, ect. Whatever you're most comfortable with!


What I'm looking for:

Art depicting the main characters from my newest novel, 'Granted'. I would like to see your version of Kristie and Li!

Anyone who enters can note me for a scene from the novel, and I will provide one for you.
(everyone gets a choice of three scenes- the art does not have to be based on the scene selected)

Prizes!

First Prize: A signed and dated copy of "Granted" in hardcover publication, one week before it hits public in July, as well as an original story by me, for you. [between 100 and 150 pages, published one time only in paperback format.] You get to chose the characters/story type, I do the hard part! ^_^

Second Prize: A signed and dated softcover publication of "Granted" one week before it hits stores in July and a short story by me, for you! [Between 25-50 pages, published one time only in paperback format.] You chose the characters/story type, I do the hard part! 8D

Third Prize: A signed and dated soft cover publication of "Granted" one week before it hits stores in July.



Deadline:

Last date for accepting entries will be June 30th, 2009.

Judging will be done by a selected group of non-participants between July 1st and July 7th, 2009.

Contest winner will be announced Friday, July 10th, 2009.

Prizes will be shipped out within the following week: WITH THE EXCEPTION OF ORIGINAL STORIES. Original stories for 1st and 2nd place will take time to create, and will be shipped based on how long it takes to create and edit.
